Pretzel Therapeutics is seeking a program manager to join our team and contribute to our cutting-edge projects focused on developing new therapies for mitochondrial diseases.

Pretzel Therapeutics is a biotechnology company headquartered in Boston, USA, with a focus on developing new therapies for mitochondrial diseases. Since 2021, we have also been operating in Gothenburg.

Who are you?

As a Program Manager at Pretzel Therapeutics, you will work with a team of highly experienced scientists located in the USA and Sweden, so an MSc in Chemistry, Biology, or a related subject is required. Previous Program Management experience working in drug discovery is an advantage. Good collaboration and proactive communication skills are important to program success, and you will manage interactions with a variety of internal and external resources. Fluency in English is required. You must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage resources effectively. The ability to travel to different countries when needed is also a bonus for this role.

Your role

As a Program Manager at Pretzel Therapeutics, you will support the management of multinational teams of researchers, consultants, and contractors to advance projects focused on developing new therapies for mitochondrial diseases. As part of this, your role will require you to:

• Work with the Pretzel Project Leaders to aid in setting and monitoring project goals and milestones and make data driven recommendations for project strategy
• Support the development of detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and task management to achieve project objectives
• Participate in data review
• Identify and ensure all documentation is in compliance with company policies
• Manage and ensure all project related issues are resolved promptly to avoid negative impact on budget or schedule
• Schedule and facilitate project team meetings, cross-functional communications, and decision making.

The Employee shall perform the above tasks under the direction of the designated Pretzel supervisor and Pretzel Project Leaders.
