Executive Assistant

To provide administrative support for the extremely hardworking and collaborative members of our Research & Development team.  This role requires excellent organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills, as well as a sense of ownership and flexibility. You will also be working as part of a dedicated Operations team to support the office generally, including events, activities and large meeting planning

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support including, but not limited to calendar management, travel, meeting planning and other tasks as assigned to the entire R&D team
  2. Provide more extensive support, such as help with expenses, project management and document/data upkeep for two Senior Vice Presidents
  3. Manage administrative documents and processes
  4. Handle confidential materials and information
  5. Provide event support to Board meetings, scientific seminars and company functions
  6. Provide backup support to other administrative staff members

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  1. Outstanding administrative and organizational skills, with emphasis on an ability to identify and manage priorities well
  2. Excellent collaboration skills and customer service mentality
  3. Solution-oriented approach
  4. Self-directed and initiative taking in the daily course of responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
  5. Can effectively utilize and/or learn to utilize current software and technologies, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Expensify and Adobe
  6. At least three+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant preferred
  7. College degree or comparable work experience desired
